Saint Lucy - December 13

Saint Lucy
Patroness of Blindness

Your eye is the light of your soul.
Who is the light of the world?

Today is the feast day of Saint Lucy, her name means “light” from the root word of lucid or clear. In juxtaposition, Lucy lived at a time of darkness and she gave her life courageously in defense of the faith during the persecution of Christians in the 4th century. Saint Lucy Pray for us.
