Second Sunday of Lent - The Transfiguration

“He who did not spare His own Son, but handed Him over for us all, how will He not also give us everything else along with him?” Romans 8:32 “Somehow Abraham intuited this divine mercy in responding to God’s command to slaughter his son Isaac. Only this assurance could compel Abraham to such depths of obedience. Similarly, in the Transfiguration God reveals to Peter, James, and John a glory they could never otherwise imagine.” (Introduction of Second Sunday of Lent Magnificat Vol 13, No. 13)
