Saint Januarius

Little is know about Saint Januarius, but according to various Christian sources, he was born in Benevento, became a priest at age 15 and Bishop of Naples at age 20. During the year and a half persecution of Christians by Emperor Diocletian, Januarius hid his fellow Christians. Unfortunately he along with some of his companions were caught and martyred in Naples.
