Parable of the Wedding Feast
Today's Gospel reminds us that one of the aspects of free will is that it leaves each one of us the option of rejecting God by not accepting His invitations.
God invites each one of us to the Wedding Feast each time we go to Mass and participate in the Eucharist, the covenant of Love between God and His people. It is a free gift open to all who accept His gift of salvation. He will even provide us with the wedding garment of sanctifying grace. All this for free. Something for me to remember the next time I consider refusing His invitation.
